Sugar industry is one of the leading branches of the food industry; it has multifaceted links with other sectors of the national economy and many branches of the food industry.
Kapitanivsky Sugar Plant is a food industry enterprise that specializes in sugar production. It is a part of I&U Group Ukraine agricultural holding. The company operates a biogas complex for processing organic waste from sugar production into raw materials for heat and electricity.
Novomyrhorodskyy tsukor LLC regularly upgrades its production facilities, aimed primarily at improving the quality of finished products, processing of raw materials and energy efficiency. As a result the processing capacity of the sugar plant increased from 2500 to 4000 tons of beet per day.
Novomyrhorodskyy tsukor LLC pays much attention to the quality and safety of its products. Sugar is produced according to the requirements of DSTU 4623:2006 / GOST 31361-2008 (GOST 31361-2008 IDT) "White sugar. Technical conditions". The sugar plant has been certified for compliance with the requirements of the international standard ISO 22000:2018 "Food Safety Management System" based on the principles of HACCP.
